Heat pump company to get expansion tax credit
In Oklahoma, three energy conservation or renewable alternative companies – including Climate Master, Inc. – will share more than $13.5 million from the latest federal stimulus package. Climate Master, which specializes in geothermal heating and cooling systems for homes and businesses, will expand facilities that produce water-source heat pumps. The Oklahoma City-based company will get $8.94 million in tax credits for the expansion from a portion of The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. This provision in The Act is providing a 30% tax credit for investments in manufacturing facilities for clean energy products to a total of $2.3 billion.
