Home builders show finds more ground-source interest

In Nevada, the National Association of Home Builders’ International Builders’ Show ended an upbeat four-day run Friday at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Attendees were described as cautiously optimistic, particularly in light of 2009’s dismal mood. Enertech Manufacturing, LLC of Greenville, Ill., a company that manufactures geothermal heating systems saw steady traffic at its booth, with builders particularly interested in learning more about the tax credits available for installing the systems. Steve Smith, managing partner of the firm said he had “already talked to our marketing folks about getting a bigger booth at next year’s show.” Next year’s show takes place Jan. 12-15 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
