Contact Energy extends Rheochem contract

In New Zealand, Rheochem said it has extended its drilling fluids and related services supply deal with Contact Energy Ltd for up to a further six geothermal wells. This is the seventh extension of the contract since it was originally signed in April 2005. Contact Energy is New Zealand’s largest generator of renewable geothermal electricity while Rheochem is first and foremost an oil and gas services and production business and also has operations in Australia.
