Faulker 1 output raised to 26MW

In Nevada, the Faulker 1 geothermal plant is now operating at 26 MW, up from 13 MW with permanent cables installed to Turbine Generator Units One and Three. Nevada Geothermal Power Inc. expects cable repairs to be completed to Unit Two and other electrical equipment on or before March 10, 2010, restoring the plant to full operation. Further, new deep injection wells, 55-15 and 58-11, have been drilled and tested and will allow production levels to be increased to between 36-40 MW soon after the plant is returned to full service. Yet another well is currently undergoing flow tests and should be in service by June 30.
