GEA utilities workshop underway this week

In Nevada, the GEA will hold a one-day “Geothermal Energy and Utilities, Co-ops and Public Power Workshop” in Las Vegas on Thursday, July 22nd at Bally’s. The program s will address issues related to geothermal examined from a utility perspective. Participants will hear the most recent updates available on the U.S. geothermal market, accompanied by expert presentations on approaches to utility scale projects in the U.S., federal and state support for utilities and renewables, reducing costs through time reduction, risk assessment, technology options, oil gas and co-production, small power, transmission issues, and more.
